The meeting will be held undsr the Rules of Racing. 2. No entry will be received except on the conditions that all claims, disputes, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by the Stewards or whom they may appoint. The r decision on all points con nected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. 3. A district horse shall mean any horse that has been commonly resident m the district between the rivers Selwyn and Opihi, from July 20th, 1889, arid up to the date of the meeting, and owned by a person who has resided m the said district during the sam? period." 4. Five per cent will be deducted from the gross of all moneys payable m accordance with this programme for the expenses of the course. • , ¥ 5. HANDICAPS. Handicaps for the first day's races will be published on or about Oc.ober 7th.
