The floods continue in the Upper Murray, causing great distress, especially among the working classes. Relief subscriptions have been started. Business in the flooded and threatened districts is suspended. The township ot Cobram is submerged under four feet of water and the river is still rising, Several houses have been swept away, and many have been abandoned.
