THE LONDON LABORERS.

London, September 16 The Strikers' Committee have ordered the men to resume work on Monday, They passed a resolution specially thanking the colonies for the valuable financial assistance rendered them m the struggle, which they declare were thefirat steps m the direction of a labor universal federation. They admit that without the liberal contributions from Australia the viotory would not have been won.i The agreement was Bi'gned last night. The lightermen delayed its final oompletion, as, while professing sympathy with the strike only, they refused to resume under 6s per day. The masters yielded, but have referred other demands to arbitration. The Surrey Commercial Dock uieu held out for an increase of wages, which has been granted them. (Received September 16, 1 p.m.) London, September 15. The cost of the strike to the Dock Companies and workmen has been 42,000,000, and the value of dock stock has been depreciated to the extent of an additional million. The Laborers' Union now numbers 18,000 men, a sufficient number for the work of the port, without casual hands.
