Meaara Wllllanas and Bl»nd report having held their weekly Bile of horaes on Saturday. The entry oocsisted of 10 horseo out of which we sold four. There was a good attendance of farmen and others, but their attention appeared to have been more taken up m conversing •bat the damage done by the wind than thinking about buying. We have several enquiries for good goldlngs and dry mares fit for ihlngle carting and heavy work. We sold en account tf J\ Hhair, Tlmaru,--a 4 year-old bay mare £30; we atao sabmltted two prand mares, 5 years o'd, heavy In foal, but at they did not retch vendor's reserve they were withdrawn; on aooount of other vendors, 3-year-old geldlug £20 ; 7«year-old mace, £14 : aged mare, £8 10;. Jb*roduce— Derwent Potatoes, 6s 6i to 7« per b«g ; kidneys, 6a to 8s per big ; oarrotn, 3a to 3a 3d per bag j oat Bheaf chaff, £3 15', bags extra ; oat straw, £2, bags extra ; uhlokwheat, 7a to lit par bag ; bran, si ; eharpß, 83 j oats, 2i 7d to 2i lOd per bcsiel. Furnltare— Fair ra'ies. aho held a olearlng aale of a freehold farm, boißea and cattle on Wednes day, 11th Inst, at Mr Wm. Doherty'a, Greenstreet. The day being very wet there was a very poor attendance, but all lota were Bold at satisfactory pricea, The fa m consisting of about 100 sorea fetched £9 pr r acre.
