Bydnky, Soptembet 9. The Government have received a definite proposal from the Canadian Pacific Company for a mail service from Vancouver, but the details are not allowed to be made known. The proposal v^ill sbo.rily bq disclosed by the Cabinet. The aciion of Ntw Zealand with regajd to the renewal of the-San Francisco contract: is watched with some interest. The renewal by New South Wales is generally approved m commercial circles.
