[From " Lvttletoa Times" Report.] We have nothing of special interest to note m connection with the grain trade during the week. The position presents much the same features as those of the previous. W#BAT.— • Sydney advices art much of the same character, while faolderß m that quarter, we are advised, are inclined to push sales previous to the approasfoing arrivals of wool. This accounts for the leis firm feeljng recently telegraphed, and will affect more particularly parcels sent over on consignment. Locally business has been of a limited character, although wheat has been offering freely. Prices locally are quoted at 3s 6d to 3s 7d for Tuscan, 3s 3d to 3s 4d for Pearl, 3s id to 3s ad for Hunters.

Oats. — The market is qutet, and prices are a. trifle easier. The uncertainty of the Melbourne tariff, to a certain extent hampers business. Prime milling stand at 2s gd ; heavy feed, 2s 7d to gs jsd ; other sorts, 2s Sd to 25 6d.

Barley. — Best quality commands 3s gd to 3s iod, but actual transactions are few. Medium to good dull of sale, at 3s 3d to 3s 6d. Feed quality is difficult to remove at the moment:

Beaks and Peas — For the former 3s to 3s 3d is quoted. Feed peas 3s to 3s 3d; Prussian Blues 3s 6d to 3s Bd. For superior lines 3s iod to 3s lid is demanded.

Flour, — Millers still quete £9 for stone, £9 is for roller.

Dairy Produce.— Butter dull at 6d to 8d ; cheese 3d to 4a.

Potatoes, are firm at 65s to 70s at country tations.
