REMARKABLE DOUBLE SUICIDE.

A remarkable oase of donble suicide wss dlsoovered this morning. An elderly conple named Heath, the man a cabinetmaker wbo lost his employment three or four months ago through drfnk, were found dead m bed, having evidently been dead at least ten or twelve days. They oooupled a four roomed cottage, and the neighbors only ten feet away nay they bad not seen them since August 17tb, but this la not reliable, The man bought an ounoe of hudanom on August 19th. Tbey left a long written statement signed by both that they were tired of the world and had made up their naiads to leave it. No money was found In tbe house, and the larger furniture was gone. There was plenty of small furniture and some food. They bad slept on bedding on tbe floor. Everything was sornpuloasly clean. They appeared to have put everything tidy, and made the plaoe very neat, washed themselves, put on their brSt and even new sleeping garments, taken the laudanum, and gone to be bed to sleep for ever. Tbe sololde was dlsoovered through tbe landlord getting the police to enter the House, as he was Informed bis tenants bad cleared out, tbe neighbors being under that Impression. The oeuple were usually on very good term*, but given to drink, when they snmpUmes qnarrellpd.
