SAMOAN NEWS.
The Lubeck has arrived from Samoa. The American warship Adams has arrived at Samoa. H.M.S. Wolf has been ordered to the China Station. Malietoa declines to resume the kingship until he receives something more definite as the result of the Berlin conference. He appears much broken down physically and mentally, and wishes to spend the remainder of bis days free from political troubles. Mataafa still occupies the throne. Assaults and crime among the Natives shew an alarming increase. The German Consul bas ordered planters to cease carrying firearms.
