Had naked Greaves to bring; down the shot pouoh from Ohemls, Had left poach at Ohemls' efter one shooting expedition. Gould not remember taking it away. Had told the man Holmes that he knew the place whore he last left It, but did not tell him where, as it would not do Mrs Ohemls any good. The perjury oases were resumed this morning, Ellis Low, who found the shot pouoh and knife on Sunday last, was examined* He aaid he found the artloles In a oreek leading In the direotion of Hawkins* house f com the main creek. They ware partly oovared with leaves, whiob, he thought, bad fallen from the growth overhead, and had not been placed there. A sheath also was found close to the knife. He Identified the ponoh, sheath, and knife produced as the articles found by him. He took the ar tides to Me Jelliooe'i house. Cross-examined s Did not think sv "plant" had been set for him, and he was quite confident It was a genuine find. He had searched the hills before bat found nothing. Re-ex imined : He had been bothered, with a dream from the first night Ohemla' was committed for trial; He had not found the articles where the dream indicated.
