Sydney, August 27 An enquiry into the loss of the Centennial has been commenced. The captain and officers aver that her course was altered to avoid colliding with the ferry steamer. The Kanahooka also altered her course when she should not. The enquiry is still proceeding. The steamer Inflexible struck on wreckage m Port Hacking, and foundered a few minutes after. All on board were saved.
