Mb Wright, Dear Sir,— lam In reoelpt of yours of the 11th, re lime, and beg to aay that I have uaed a good deal of It the last few years, and have got very good results from Its use for both oats and wheat, I nropped the land the first year with turnips, and dressed part of It with four tons of small Hoe to the acre, part with atook-yard manure, and part with 4owt Maldon Guano per acre. Next cropped with oats and barley, and had 70 bushels rf barley and 90 bushels of oats to the aore ; it was laid down one year and then put m wheat and gave 40 bushels tothe •ore. T thoroughly believe we oould not get anything like the cropß we do If it were not for the lime, This year I qoaght another property, and I Intend to use 600 tons. I get it at Mllburn Lime Kilns. This same faim I bought about ten years ago, the party that had It put on a few loads of the small lime, and it shows as deatlnotly as possible; 60 bushels was about the highest I ever got of oats unti I used the lime.
