A London correspondent writes that Mr Oonrtney, the well known leoturer upon New Zealand, is returning to New Zealand by the Ruapehu, on August 25, Ha will be aooompaniad by a large party of emigrants, who go oat under his auspioes. Mr Omrtney hopes to be baok m England some time m Maroh. White In New Zoaland Mr Courtney will parti? ooo apy his time m making preliminary arrangements Cor the fl mtlng of a Land Company, whtoh will deal with 100,000 aores sltnate Id Hawkes Bay.and whioh will ultimately be put npon the London market. Sinbe he his been over la England, Mr Coortney baa been instrumental m sending many hundreds of emigrants to the Colonies, but hai received very little m return. He hag received a few commissions on pasiages taken by a oertaln line of steamers, but nothing&beyond. Some more substantial bustoass arrangement than this might ba made with equal advantage to the New ZaaUnd Government and to Mr Oouitney ( He might also, when he comes over here again, made a definite charge foi his. lecture*, whtoh have the reputation ofbeing altraottya.
