Reports to hand by the steamer Richmond are to the effect that the Natives of Samoa are not m pressing need of food, and that their orops will shortly be ripe. Several shooks of earthquake were felt at Tonga oa August 3, lasting about 20 seconds, and aooompauied by great noise.
