Bydnky, July 30. The exploring party m the Glebe pit, Newcastle, where the miners were entombed, baye found a horse, which had evidently died of starvation, and the general feeling is that many of the men only too probably met their death m the same horrible way.
Sir H. Parkes apologised m the Legislative Assembly for his hasty threat against the Council m consequence of their action on the Payment of Members Bill, and now states he desjres to approaqh the subject m a cairn and temperate manner,
