MR GLADSTONE.
DISASTROUS CYCLONE.
The National Liberal Club has presented Mr Gladstone with a magnificent album containing two thousand photos of members of the Club.
Vibhna. July 29
A cyclone m Southern Hungary devastated a tract of country twenty-one miles m extent along the Danube. Houses and churches were wrecked m numbers. At Pesth a crowded ferryboat was caught m the vortex and swept away, and hundreds of persons were drowned.
