Before the adjournment of tli *• Times "-Parnell Commission the cashier of the National Bank stated the the books and papers of ihe Bank fo eight years prior to 1886 had ben-. destroyed by the order of the Vie, Chairman. It was subsequently eHcite that the destruction of the books r> papers took place m pursuance of ordinary course, and not at the insi ~ tion of the Parnellies. One of ; books contained th accounts of k.: Biggar and other nationalists.
