There was a moderate attendance of buyers, but farmers wore anxious not to over-atook their pastures, feed being very scaroo ; however most of the lines were Bold at satisfactory prioos. Wo have again to oall attention to the careless way m whioh graaiors send their atoak to market, soveral lines having to* be passed through tho dip as lousy, whioh not only dopreoiates tho prioe of the sheep, but oauses groat annoyanoo to buyers who have long distances to travol. The following are tho prices realised : — Fat oroaSbred ewesjand wethers medium quality, 10s Id ; fat ordsfl-. .bred wethers, off turnips, 14s 6d ; store cross!.brod/lamb3, 5s 3d to 9s Id; orosßbred ewea m lamb, poor oondition, 7a 9d : medium merino ewea m lamb, 4b 2d.
