_ . Bydnby, Jnly 23 . Exploration m the Glebe mine, where the 'roof collapsed, has been resumed. Sydney, Jaly 24 A nautical inquiry was held to-day into the sinking of the steamer Afghan while loading coal at Newcastle. The Court held that the accident was due to negligence m leaving a valve open, and suspended the certificate of the first engineer for six months, and the second for twelve months.
