COLLISION IN THE CHANNEL
London, July 23. The steamers Lufra and Bondevinin came into collision m the Channel. The latter caught fire, and some of the crew of the Lufra abandoned their vessel and took to the boats, fearing an explosion of gunpowder. Three men are missing.
