ROYAL ALLOWANCES.
The Committee of the House of Commons appointed to inquire into the subject of grants to members ot the Royal Family recommend that an addition of ,£36,000 be made to the income of the Prince of Wales; the question of provision for the grand children of the Queen to be left open as her Majesty intimated that it was unlikely that any further grants would be asked.
