" JACK THE RIPPER."
London, July 17 " Jack the Ripper " recently informed the police that he would begin operations again m Julj, and the recent murder m Whitechapel is consequently attributed to him. The woman was about forty years of age, and has not yet been identified. The clothes round the abdomen were gashed, but the body was intact, Her throat was cut. The murderer had evidently been disturbed at his ghastly work, and fled. A qonr stable passed the spot five minutes previously, Two hundred police now form a cordon round the district.
