It Waft deoided to let the question of reshingling the Ohertaey Road stand over for one month and to oall for tenders for next meeting for repairs to onttings at Dray ton. Mr UJyett's offer to make necessary ro> pairs on the Cairnbroe Road was accepted, A petition for formation of the road from Oalrnbrae to Lyndhurst was received from Mr MoKendry and others.— The olerk iras Instructed to report at the next meeting on the state of the road. Mr D. Qalna applied to have a catting made on the road to Mr Anderson's seotlon near the A.shburton River. — The olerk was Instructed to flod the exact position of tns) section pegs and to report at the nex* aaeeting. Oorrespondense was read from Messrs Helmore and Power re gravel reserves!— fiaferred to the Ashbortoh Oonnty Oounoll. Pr< mMr R T. Leatham, solicitor, re heap of stones near Mr Pronty's section.— The olerk was !n---strnoted to see that the stones did not lnterfere,wlth Mr Prunty'a fence. Olronburt from the Dunedln Exhibition Ooinmittee and re poisoned grain and destmctlon of Rabbits were reoeived. Mr Blaok'a tender for ford ou Thompson's traok was accepted. Aoooonts to the amount of £211 lls sd, were passed for payment.
