NEW IRISH LEAGUE.
London, Jaly 12 The "Standard" states that the Government attach little importance to the Tenants' Defence League which Mr Parnell intends to establish, and believes it is intended 'to cover the failure of the Plan of Campaign. The bulk of the tenants, the " Standard " asserts, have stood aloof from . the proposal, which was submitted to Messrs Gladstone and Morley before being announced.
