London, July 9. John O'Connor, M.P. for Tipperary, m the course of his evidence before the Commission, admitted having been a Fenian until 1880, but refused to disclose anything about that Society. He also admitted he was cognisant of a conspiracy being arranged to murder Judge Harritt. The witness himself had been charged with participating m it. He (justified his endeavors to corrupt the police, and said he considered the police were capable of hanging an innocent person, whereupon the President, Sir Jamea Hannen, exclaimed, " Ifc is moral torture to listen to this man."
