Now he maat be misinformed or laboring under an erroneom idea to write m suoh » ■train. I beg to state that quite 80 per cent of the most influential Inhabitants have signed tho petition In favor of tin change, and your correspondent would find very few to sign against It. The present post office is a Ions; way from being oantral and at pretent only a very few ate It; not many litters go through tho Sprlngburn big bat are ourled on to Mount Somers by the mailman, and to show that the change is badly wanted «ome of the residents have erected private boxes on the line of main road. All the years thtt the present Post Office haa been open, people could never depend on, getting stamps to post (heir correspondence, or even hid a letter box to post tboir letters into, but if you oan borrow or beg a stamp off your neighbor well and good, you would then have to go to Mount Somera or Alford Forest if you wish to post »t your own convenienoa, but not at the Rpringbnrn postmaster's convenience, — Yours, eto., One of the Petitioners.
