A number of shareholders from Greymouth, Christ* ehorch and this oHy were present. Messrs A. B, Gulnnes*, J, T»ylot, J. Barry, A. M'Doogtll, B. Sloan and J. M. Miller were appointed tbe first Directors of tbe Company. The oontraot fov the purchase of ihe property from the Goal Creek Syndicate by the Company was approved.
