■ - ■ ■■♦ The ease of tbe Bank of New Zealand v Wilson, Talne and 00., and tbe orossaotion were oonoluded In tbe Supreme Oourr, Dunedin on Thursday- The bank claimed £2507 15s lid, due on overdraft and on bills. In the cross-action Messrs Wilson, Talne and 00., claimed £10,000 damages for Injury to their oredlt through the bank's having dishonored their ebequss for wool bought, while their wool aeooont was In funds. The two aetfons were for the sake of oonvenlenoe heard as one. Mr Hsgglt, with Mr F R. Ohapaman appeared for tha bank, and Sir Robert Stoat, with Mr J. MseGregor, for Msetrs Wilson, Talne aod Oc. Oounsel addressed the jury and Mr Justloe Williams summed up. The jury, after an absence of three hours, retorned a verdlot giving Messrs Wilson, Talne and Oof, damages £6000, the bank getting a verdlot In the other oase. 'The bank will Set alltogetbsr for the overdraft, overdue Ills, eto, roughly about £3500, and Messrs Wilson, Talne and O j., therefore reoelve £1500.
