Mb Wbioht, Dear Sir,— l am In receipt of yours of the 11th, re lime, and beg to say that I have used a good deal of It the last few years, and have got very good results from Its use for both oats and wheat, I oropped the land the first year with turnips, and dressed part of It with fo 5 tons of small lime to tbe aore, part with stock-yard manure, and part with 4owt Maldon Guano per acre. Next cropped with oats aod barley, and had 70 bushels ct barley and 90 bushels of oats to the acre ; It was laid down one year and then put In wheat and gave 40 bushels to the aore. I thoroughly believe we oould not get anything like the orops we do If It were not for the Hme. This yesr I bought another property, and I Intend to use 600 tons. I get it at Mllburn Lime Kilns. This same faim I bought abont ten years ago, the party tbat had It put on a few loads of the email lime, and it shows as dostlnotly as possible; 00 bushels was about tho highest I ever got of Oats until I used the Urns.
