Sydney, Jane 13. The Anglican Synod nominated the Rev [Canon William S. Smith, Principal of St Aidan's College (Theological), Birkenhcad ; Rev Glyno Moule, Principal of Ridley Hall, Oxford ; and Rev Canon Chavasse, Oxford, for the Primacy of Australia. The Bishops of I^ew Sou^h Wales will two from these, then the Bishops of thp whole of Australia and Tasmania wilf make the r]nal selection. Among the names mentioned for £h£ Primacy were the Bishop of Mapchesteir, the BJshop of Truro, the Bishop of Adelaide, Asch.(Jeacon fariar of Westminster, and Archdeaccn Lopg of Aucklnnd.
