The fact that three more cargoes are daily expected from San Francisco does not help to improve the tone of the market. The highest quotations are as follows : — New Zealand Tuscan is at 48 jrd ; Californian is considerably lower, though 4s 6d is said to have been touched for small lines of best samples.
