The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited have received the following cable message, dated London, June 7. Frozen Mutton.— The mutton market has an upward tendency. Canterbury and Wellington mutton are worth $}£& and sd per Ib respectively. Lamb is in better demand ; Canterbury is worth 6^d per lb. The beef market is dull. Fore and hindquarters are worth respectively 3/^d and 4c! per lb. New Zealand Hemp.— Medium is worth per ton. (Received Jane 10, 12.58 pan.) Lohdon, June 0. Tallow-^Medium mutton 255 ; beef 245. • ' ■ English wheat weak, without change in prices. Continental dull. American declining. Forward business inactive. Arrivals of foreign wheat are liberal; no Australasian off coast. New Zealand wheat on the passage, average quality, 33s od.
