LoKDOif, May 29. The report of Captain Kane oi the Calliope, on the disasters at Samoa has been published by order of the Admiralty. An official letter has been sent to Admiral Fairfax, m which Captain Kane's nerve, decision, and seamanship are spoken of m terms of the highest praise. Their Lordships also express their high appreciation of the conduct of the officers and men, especially Mr Bourke, the engineer.
