Mr Wright, Dear Sir, —l am m receipt of youra of the 11th, re lime, and beg to lay that I have used a good deal of it the last few years, and have got very good results from its use for both oats and wheat, I cropped the land tbe first year with turnips, and dressed part of it with font tons of small lime to the acre, part with stock-yard manure, and part with 4owt Maldon Guano per aore. Next cropped with oats and barley, and had 70 busbela of barley and 90 bushels of oats to the aore ; It was laid down one year and then put In wheat and gave 40 bushels to the acre. I thoroughly believe we conld not get anything like the crops wo do if It were not tor the Hme. This yesr I booght another property, and I intend to use 600 tons. I get it at Mllbnrn Lima, Kllni. This same faint I bought about ten yeara ago, the party that had it put on a few loads of the small lime, and it ■hows as destlnotly as possible; 60 bushels was about the highest I ever got of oati until I nsed the lime.. .
