The Irish Delegates.
ATJCKX.IND, May 39. A deputation from the committee appointed to arrange'for the reoeption of the Irisb delegates interviewed ffi* G. Grey this morning for tho purpose of obtaining his co-operation. Sir George readily promised to do all m Mb power to help the cause. In a speech of some length he showed that he forecasted twenty years ago what is taking place to-day m Ireland. He will probably preside at the public meeting for the reception of the delegates. Property-tax Assessment. Waxfawa, May 29. During the alttlng of the Assessment Court yesterday, Mr Oromble, the Deputy Commissioner, said he would recommend tbe Commissioner to take over the property of a sheep farmer In this district who objected to the valuation. Mr Oromble said the Commissioner would oompal the owaer to sell at the valuation, plus ten per oent If he would not agree to the valuation. The statement created surprise. Juvenile Crime; WrauNGioir, May 89 At a meeting of J dittoes of the Peace to consider the question of dealing with juvenile orlme, a Committee was appointed to bring up a report on the aubjeot and convene a further meeting, when the whole question will be discussed.Another Gun Fatality. Fatal Accident DtKßDur, May 29, Jenle McFadgen, agad six, died from Injuries oaused through her clothes oatohing fire. Sudden Death. Joseph Hall, of Hawkesbniy, died suddenly. It Is supposed from apoplexy.
