BirDNßr, May 28. Up to this evening 20in of rain have fallen during the storm, but it is now clearing up. At Kiama a man named Casey was drowned. The .Northern mail train was thrown from the rails at Muswellbrook owing to the line being washed away. No one was injured, but one man had a narrow escape. He managed to get out through a carriage window, and had to swim for his life. At Anniclale a boy, name unknown, was drowned.
