TO THB BDITOB, £ie, — It would be well for the Information of the farming publio, If some uniform arrangement oould be come to by the " Press Association " m regard to information forwarded by them In refer enoe to the shipments of wheat arriving In Sydney at the present time from different places, the word " saok " being oied apparently without regard to the quantity \ contained In the package. For instance, your telegram In the " Mall " states the arriyal m Sydney of a brlgantlne with 30,000 saoks wheat from Frisco, and a barque with 13,000 saoks wheat from Lytteiton. The so«oalled Oalefornia sack generally oontalns one hundred pounds or one cental, the New Zealand saok of course contains two buadred and forty pounds or four bushels. The cargo from Frlsoo p«r 11 Reaper " oontains 69,626 bushels, the cargo of the *'Esrl Granule " 50,928 bushels the latter vessel having originally loaded up her wheat cargo for Great Britain. lam, etc, Dusty.
