I oropped the land the first year with tnrnlps, and dressed part of it with four tons of small lime to the aore, part with •took-yerd manure, and part with 4owt Maldon Guano per aore. Next oroppsd with oats and bsirfey, and had 70 bushels of barley and 80 bushels of oats to the aore j It was laid down one year and then put In wheat and gave 40 bushels to tha acre. I thoroughly believe we could not get anything luce the oropi we do If It were not for the lime. This yesr I bought another property, and I intend to us«6oo tons. I get it at Mllburn Lime Kilns. This o»me faim I bought about ten years ago, the party that had It put on a few loads of the small lime, and it shows as deitlaotly as ponible; 00 bushels was about the highest I ever got of oati until I Died the lime.
