Mr T Ballook reports for the week ending Siturday May IB,h. There was again a Urge entry of horses, viz., 64, and a very good attendance of farmers and other country settlors, bnt there were no first olasa draughts and many of the medium sorts brought forward were oon■lderered by intending purchasers of too light a stamp for this dlstrlot. Consequent/ tome would be buyers for this olass were •gain unable to be supplied; Oat of the day's entry of 64, 40 were sold at the fallowing prloei, viz. Medium draughts, i year-olda £17, £18 10j up to £21 10a ; aged, good stamp £15, £17 sa, £17 15s, of a lighter stamp £11 6 i, £11 10 i ; 6-year-old, light £16 10s ; inferior, » number changed hands at from £5 5a to £7, a pair of light harness horses brought £134, others £3 10s, £0 ss. Hacks, only those of a very medium stamp were offered and a large number sold at from £4 15 to £5 10s, and scrubbers £1 10s to £3 10a. Sundries, a quantity of harness, horse oovera etc, at market rates. On Monday 13 -h Inst, I held a clearing sale of farm stock, Implements etc., at the homestead of Mi 1 D. MoLeod, Lsghmor Road, Tlnwald. The prices realleod for all lots offered wore very satisfactory. Aged horses £0 5s to £11 10a; light harness horses and haoka £6 to £12; orossbred ewes In lerab 7s j drays and frames £8 5s to £17 10s , Wood's reaper aud binder £17-
