(PIE PKXSS ASSOOIATION.) London, May 17. Mr A. J. Balfour, Secretary for Ireland, has promised to shortly introduce m the House of Commons tbe Irish Drainage of Land Bill and the Light Railways Bill of Ireland. In the House of Commons to-day a resolution moved by Mr Bradlaugh objecting to the proposed terms of commuting perpetual pensions was rejected by a majority of 49. The Budget has passed through Committee. Mr Gladstone's motion providing for equalising death duties on realty and personal estate was rejected by a majority of 76.
