(PER I>IIKHB AfISOOIATION.) Brisbane, May 16. Tho Bohoonor Rhoderick Dha has arrived from Mallicola Island, one of the Now Hebrides group. Her captain reports boing informed by the nativos a vossol hailing from Queensland was burnt off tho coast thoro, and many of those on boayd porißlied m tho flames. Tl}o survivors, tbo natives assorted, died, from starvation, Tho fire w«s parsed by a woman dropping a match into a vessel containing pitch which was stowed away under tho bunks, and tho flames spread so rapidly that many had not time to reach the dook, and lost their lives* News of the disaster was confirmed by another tribe further down the coast, but they were less precise as to tbo destruction of tho vosbol 'and loss of , |ifo. The Rhoderick Dhu made a diligent search m the neighborhood ? but I oould find no traoo of the vessel or her , orew,
