THE STRIKES IN GERMANY.
Berlin. May 16 Prince Bismarck is much concerned at the spread of the strikes, which he considers are evidently the result of wide and effective organisation among the workmen. As an outcome of the strikes large quantities of coal, coke and iron have been purchased m England for export to Germany.
