THE STRIKE IN WESTPHALIA.
.Berlin, May 13. The Westphalia colliers stubbornly refuse to agree to the conditions of the masters, who are willing to give an increase of wages; the men hold out for the eight hours system. The strike has resulted m a large number of furnaces at various works being extinguished. The Emperor William will receive a deputation from the colliers m a day or two. The strike fever is affecting artisans throughout Germany.
