HORSE MARKET.
Mi T. Bullook reports for the week ending Saturday. May 11th. There was a large entry of horßes, viz., 60- A draft of 80 belonging to Messrs Hsckon Bios, from the North Island commanded • deal of attention, tut only ft small proportion were sold, farmers stating that they were rather light for this market. There were no really heavy draughts for which there were buyers present. Out of the day'e entry of 60, 32 were sold at the following prices, viz medium draughts 3 and 4 year olds, £18 10s, £'8 10j, £19, £21 ; 4 and 5 years of a lighter description £14 10s, £1410 •, £15; aged of a good stamp £12 10a, £18 10a ; inferior £6 to £9. Baoke: ft number changed hands at from £5 5s to £13 aooordlng to description. Light harness horses £6, £7 sa, up to £10 Weeds £110s to £3 10). The whole of MrGrlgg's entry did not come forward, the remainder will be sold next Saturday. Sundries, saddles and bridles, horse covers eto, at market values Country sales. On Thursday I held a olearlng sale of farm •took, Implements eto at Wlnslow od aceonnt of Mr Graybucn! There was only a moderate attendance, I presume on ftooount of the raow, bnt prices realized were veYj satisfactory Indeed,
