MAIL ARRANGEMENTS.
The changes made In the Railway timetable have necessitated an alteration m the mall arrangements. Through the courtesy of Mr Doog'as, postmaster, we are enabled to glvb the times at which malls will m future clcoe at the Ashbnrton Poat Office. These will be as folio wj : — For Chertsey daily at 6.30 a.m. and Bp.m. For Bakaia, Ohristohuroh and North daily at 6.80 a.m., 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. ForDunaandel, Selwyn and Burnham, daily at 3 p.m. ForTinwald, Winslow, and Temuks, daily at J0.8,0 a.m., and on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 4 V- m - For Liimore, Maygeld and $uapuna on Toes? day's and Fridays at.10.30 a.m. For Oeraldine daily at 10.80 a.m. For Timara daily at 10 30 a.m. and noon, and Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at s* 4. p.m. For Oamarn, Dnnedin and South daily at j noon. For Greenstreet and Aahburton Forks on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 2.30 p.m. Fot Mount Somers on Mondays and Fridays at 7 p.m., other days at 4 p.m. For Wheats tone, Ashton, Waterton and Longbetoh daily at 4.30 p.m. For Flemington on Mondays, Wednesdays > apd Fridays at 4.30 p.m. v For Rowlands on Tuesdays and Fridays at ' 10.45 a.m. For Elgin, Wakanui, Seaview, Beafield and Kyle on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Bator. dayß at 6 a.m. The above time-table takes efleot on Monday next.
