I maiotaln seeing the large interests Involved it U an Impossibility to attempt to alter the market day, and I am cur* If Mr Robeits Is slnoere In his deeire for the half-holiday, he must sea that Wednesday Is the proper day. He has the verdict of tbe pnollo meeting dead against Saturday, and I take It, Mr Roberts being a generous man, he will oooe more exerelae tbls noble characteristic, generosity, to wards his fellow men. and bow to the deoire uf tbe majority. By so doing he will greatly help to accomplish the desired boon with the smallest possible Inconvenience to all daises m the district.
