FIRE IN LONDON.
London, May 6.
By a fire at the City Soap Works, damage to the extent of a quarter of a million has been done. The fire extended to twenty-four warehouses, and the total amount of the damage was upwards of half a million. The premises of Stevenson and Sons, of Melbourne, were slightly damaged.
