WAKANUI ROAD BOARD
The monthly meeting of the Wakanui Road Board was held on Saturday. Present : Messrs M. Bruce, J, Brown, W. T. LIU and G. Ooe. Tbe Olerk took tbe chair. BLEOTION The Returning Officer reported that Mr James Brown had been duly eleoted a member of the B jard for No. 2 Ward, au extraordinary vacancy had oocurred owing to only one person being nominated and ateps were being taken to fill the same, and Messrs M. Bruce and W. T. Llll had baen duly eleoted for No. 3 Ward. CHAIRMAN. The Olerk said the first business would be the election of ohairman. On the motion of Mr Brown seconded by Mr Llll, Mr Bruoe was re-elected Oha r Jian of tbe Board. SPECIAL ORDER, The epeolal order for Increasing tbe number of members for No. 3 Ward to three, wsb on the motion of Mr Llll j seconded by the Chairman, confirmed. ACCOUNTS. After pasalng aooouuts, the Board adjourned.
