m , . Lokdow, April 26. The Edinburgh "Daily Review" publishes an article on Imperial Defence, m which it aaserts that the defence! of Melbourne are the strongest of any of the British Empire. After reviewing the whole strength of English defences it continues that even New Zealand has more modern armaments than any Imperial fortress.
