WAKANUI.

The annual meeting of householders was held m the Main School on Tuesday last. The attendance was rather small for $o large a district. Mr P. Stewart waa vowd to the chair. The report of the outgoing Committee wag read showing the buildings and grounds to be m good order. The receipts from all sources were £390 7s 6d, and the [expenditure £374 9s lOd, showing a balance to credit on let January of £15 17s BeL The balance at the Bank at the present date is £16 4s 8d with no outstanding liabilities. Tho following resolution was then put to the meeting j— <« That the Inspectors' report of the 6th June shows very bad management on the part of the master, and that this meeting is surprised to hear tbat the Board allowed euoh a state of things to continue, and as a consequence the unsatisfactory report of the last examination was nothing more than might have been expected."
