Of course \ there was a certain amount of joking, and other remarks In referenoe t j the unr avoidable absenoe of gas. According to } the report of the Library Committee It * is made out that the irregularities of the E Librarian are unavoidable. If so It would lead one to believe that he Is not responsible for bis own abtion.s ' I am, etc, * Gas.
